Normally you pick which folders to put on your phone, and whatever you pick has to fit. Dinghy skips that bargain: you get the whole list, and the files follow when you ask for them.
A library that weighs nothing
Your phone learns what exists on your other devices without downloading any of it. Browse the whole tree — fifty thousand files if that's what you have — while the folder sits there using a few dozen kilobytes.
Nothing is hidden behind a "sync this folder?" decision you have to make in advance.
Play a film that isn't on your phone
Tap a document, a photo or a two-hour video and it starts straight away — the parts you're reading or watching arrive as you go. No waiting for a whole folder to come down first, and no half-gigabyte left behind afterwards unless you want it.
It shows up inside your other apps
Your synced folders appear wherever Android lets you pick a file. Attach a scan to an email, open a PDF in your reader, pick a photo in a chat — Dinghy is simply one of the places you can choose from, search included.
Files that were never downloaded work there too.
Pin the things you can't be without
Boarding passes, sheet music, the folder you need on the plane — flip a switch and Dinghy keeps those on the phone and up to date. Everything else stays a tap away, for whenever you have signal.
